The Celestron Ultima 20-60X80 spotting scope is the ideal multi use tool. It can be used for looking at distant surrounding, birdwatching, wildlife viewing and even stargazing or amateur astronomy. With a wide angle field of view it allows you to observe the entire field as well as zoom in up to 60x times and spot the tiniest details. The new Celestron Ultima is highly durable and fully waterproofed. Its large 80mm objective and multi-coated lenses result in supreme optical quality across the entire field of view. The 45° angled eye-piece allows easier viewing for longer periods and sharing the scope among users of differing heights. Although its affordable price this model produces sharp, bright images which are otherwise only achieved by higher-end spotting scopes. The Celestron Ultima is a very popular seller and our #1 pick for nature and wildlife viewing.

    (verified owner):

This scope was purchased primarily for bird watching however, we have found we can see the actual craters on the moon on a clear night. Using with a tripod is an absolute must as it is impossible to hold steady enough free handed. The clarity of detail when zoomed in fully is nothing short of amazing.

On a separate note the customer service from Procular has been nothing short of amazing to help sort out a minor issue we experienced.
