They are so simple to use focus is spot on and the clarity of the lenses are truly magnificent add that to the lightweight of the binoculars it’s easy to follow anything at a distance. Inaugurated these Avalon 10x42s at Horsey Gap (seal pups @ 20-40m, more than filled the field of view). Nice and lightweight with very clear images; protective lens covers also a plus.

Great size, not too large or small and good weight. Nice to have the case too. Vision excellent

My first binoculars – absolutely thrilled with them. The view is are so clear and sharp – love the feel of the plastic and rubber – they give grip. Great that the dust caps are attached and the case and straps are perfect too.

These binoculars are beautiful. Very stylish, lightweight and powerful for their size. I have purchased them as present for my husband’s birthday in April. He hasn’t used them yet…..but I’ve had a sneaky try! They are fabulous. I know he’ll be delighted!

After a lot of research I am delighted with this purchase. Very impressive viewing capability as they are not to heavy so no shaking issues. A modern compact design and ease of use makes this a worthwhile investment.

Really pleased with these binoculars. I use them for birdwatching and particularly like the extendable eye pieces and the right lens optic adjustment which together give really clear image.

Great product for the price light and really good for the bird watching.

Very stylish but, more to the point, excellent optically. Eyepieces adjust to whether the user is wearing spectacles and this is quite effective. Feel good in the hand.

Very happy with the Avalons, clear and wide view, solid but very lightweight. My aim is to use them for spotting wildlife and detail on long views around the Lake district.

Bought these for a trip to the Scottish Highlands and they were perfect! Lightweight, waterproof (this was important in the driving rain and drizzle!), easy to use and great image quality. Helped me to spot my first white tailed eagle! Only downside was that I dislodged one of the small ball bearings for the adjustable eye-glass viewers when replacing lens caps in a hurry – but has not impacted on use significantly – a great buy!

Great binoculars! My kids and I love using them. They are easy to tote around and the optics are superb. The case and strap are a little subpar but otherwise the binoculars themselves are fantastic, no complaints.

Having wasted money on “powerful” binoculars in the past, I decided to do a little research and buy a pair guaranteed to be more suitable for my needs. Avalon Optics and their 10×42 PRO HD model came up time after time. Took the plunge and purchased a pair and I was not to be disappointed. Finally, I own a nice pair of well constructed, comfortable to wear and carry binoculars that are useable!
I have no hesitation in recommending these and Avalon Optics who answered an email regarding buying a second pair for my wife – almost immediately.
Now……..Have to start saving up for when I upgrade to another Avalon Pair!

I had considered buying binoculars, for the last couple of years, to use whilst touring the country with our caravan.
However, I never committed as I didn’t have a clue as to the features I needed for the purpose.
The Procular website was very informative in providing me with the necessary information required to enable me to make a choice.
Having purchased the Avalon 10×42 HD Platinum I now know that I made the right choice.
They are very light in weight, not too big and look great. Operationally they impress. The imagery is bright and clear and provide a realistic 3D effect. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Firstly Procular: excellent and helpful website, very efficient delivery. Recommended!

The Avalon 10×42 are the first binoculars that I have bought apart from some bought 20 years ago for sailing which were ok for that but no good for nature or bird watching etc. I chose these as the reviews on the website were positive and the recommendation from the company seemed to assure quality. I did seriously think about the Nikon Equivalent but the cost was the decider and I think the weight too. In white they are funky but maybe scare wildlife?? I like them a lot. Easy to adjust and focus, handy lens covers etc. I am confused, as a spectacle wearer about the advice to “fold back” the rubber eye pieces. They actually twist out fine and this is how I use them with glasses as wound in I cannot use them. So the detail on this instruction needs reviewing and a small video on this feature would help. At the price and with the relatively low weight I am very pleased. Now I just need to sharpen my skills!

Excellent product. The stand (at £35)was not what I expected. Far too small and fiddly to fit it to the binoculars.

Very pleased with our new Avalon 10 X 42 binoculars which also look very smart in platinum. We find them to be a perfect weight and size, large enough to give good results and light enough to make it easy to carry. Due to Covid restrictions we have only tested them in the garden so far, easy to adjust and making bird identification very easy. Also excellent service from Procular

Excellent binoculars. They feel very sturdy and no doubt will last.
I wear glasses and have no problem at all using these.

Exactly what it said on the tin

Bought for me as a birthday present and very impressed with the optics. Only criticism is that specification says there is a tripod socket and there isn’t. As good as many of the more expensive competitors fully recommend.

Very pleased with recent purchase. Can now see things which are distant as if they were close by. Bit puzzled though as to the wording of your e-mail inviting me to review, are the new binoculars ‘any good’? I would presume you would not be selling them if they weren’t ‘any good’!
