    :

The staff at Procular are absolutely fantastic they put up with endless emails and constant comparisons of a variety of scopes, I opted for the Barska 30 90/100 as it was a good price and was well reviewed.
It’s phenomenal so powerful and clear easy to use and is perfect for shipping and whales etc. I opted for the Bushnell tripod as well.

I live in an apartment with a view of the sea and enjoy ship-spotting. This telescope has proved ideal for viewing ships entering and leaving harbour and while at anchor. You can zoom in and identify very close details, the image is sharp and clear. Although not recommended for this it has been good for stargazing, too, with some very clear views of the moon and major planets (including Jupiter’s moons). I bought the recommended Bushnell tripod and they make a very good combination. Delivered three days earlier than estimated, too. Great service.

    :

We are very pleased with our spotting scope. We also live high up on a hill over looking the Whangamata beach, out to Sea.
The Scope suits this situation well and we are able to spot the boats coming in and out over the Bar as well as see quite clearly the larger ships out at sea. All in all we would recommend this product.

    :

Delighted with the scope. We are on a clifftop site overlooking Waitemata Harbour, Auckland. To be able to follow ships movements, and the activities of the water sports played out in front of us is special. The real bonus is the scope now allows me to see which boats are catching fish! I can now plan my fishing trips targeting the producing areas! Ease of use and portability are top features. All good and has my strong endorsement.

I am sorry about my last review. The tripod does move up and down. I had put the scope on wrong so I do apologise. I can now find no fault whatsoever and would recommend this scope for searching and just having fun with it. Cheers Trev

    :

Great scope. We can see clearly for several kilometres. Our home has a brilliant view of mountains and farmland and we look over our township as well. We can see things that we could not see before like our golf course and our old farm. The only thing I can find fault with is the tripod. We can look from side to side but we can’t look up and down which is a little frustrating but overall we are very pleased with our purchase.
