I bought this model for my husband’s birthday. He hasn’t had a telescope before but is keen on exploring the night sky. Unfortunately, cloudy nights and being away over Easter has delayed his using it very much. But what he has seen already is wonderful. He found it straight forward to put together and the clarity of the full moon was fantastic. He is very impressed with the set up and I know he will get a huge amount of enjoymernt from it. I’m very pleased that I bought a larger model straight away, from a reputable source, as my husband is now retired, so will have endless hours of enjoyment and learning from it.

I’ve been interested in amateur astronomy for over 8 years now. This was my second telescope which I bought as an addition to my cheaper basic refractor. It was easy to assemble and out of the box looked great. I had to wait a few nights for the clouds to go away but once I tried it the view was spectacular!! There is absolutely no comparison to my smaller telescope. The NG 114 enhances even the faintest stars so what you see is a “light show” of beautiful stars wherever you point it at. planets in our solar system appear with much more detail. Some galaxies too. I think for the price it delivers a great value because of its large aperture size. Recommended and was worth every penny
